The Society of International Gastroenterological Nurses and Endoscopy Associates (SIGNEA) is structured so that gastroenterology professionals and those with associated interests can join our society. Please see below for the different categories of membership offered and the benefits associated with those categories. Our memberships run from January 1 through December 31 of the calendar year. Dues are not prorated.
Open to any interested gastroenterological nurse or endoscopy associate engaged in the profession of nursing. Individual members will receive the newsletter and all general information, will have the right to attend and speak at business meetings and may vote on all issues presented to the business meeting. Individual members may hold office unless they are employed by a commercial vendor, company or corporation
Open to national organizations of G.E. nurses and endoscopy associates per country, who will pay a group subscription. The national organization will receive the newsletter and all general information through an appointed delegate. The appointed delegate will have the right to attend and speak at business meetings, may vote on behalf of the represented organization and may hold office.
Open to all interested companies. Corporate members
will receive the newsletter, mailing list and all general information from
the society. Representative will have the right to attend and speak at
business meetings but may not vote or hold office.
The board of directors may, at its discretion, grant affiliate membership to physicians and surgeons engaged in gastroenterology/endoscopy, or persons engaged in activities relevant to gastroenterology/endoscopy, including company representatives. Affiliate members will receive the newsletter and all general information, will have the right to attend business meetings, may speak at business meetings, but may not vote or hold office.
